From Friends of the Earth, COAG, Ecologists in Greenpeace action and promoted a Declaration of personalities and civil society organizations on biotechnology applications in genetic modification of plants. We got a statement widely supported by civil society, with support from representatives of organizations, associations, NGOs, trade unions, researchers and teachers, which makes clear that the GM debate concerns the whole society.
